Physics has always played a part in the development of computer games and in recent years the demand for more realistic environments has resulted in some quite advanced mathematical simulations in computer games and special effects. This masterclass gives a brief overview of some of the technology used to make computer games and special effects used in the film industry. It is illustrated by many demonstrations and examples of computer game hardware and software.
