To celebrate Charles Dickens 200th birthday, we thought we’d bring you this cinematic delight. Based on the novel Oliver Twist, this classic 1968 film version offers fantastic performances from a brilliant cast but of course the real stars of the show are the very famous musical hits that are forever burned into our minds; ‘Consider Yourself’, ‘Pick a Pocket or Two’ and ‘Food Glorious Food’ to name just a few. So, come along, bring your friends and family and enjoy a bit of British cinema history at its best. There’ll be a prize for the best costume inspired by the film.
