Leeds Film Network, ArtForms and Leeds Young Film Festival proudly present the first Golden Owl Awards: a competition involving schools, community groups and individuals for young people across the city. The awards ceremony is a black-tie Oscar style event celebrating the best of young filmmaking in Leeds and will be held the prestigious Leeds Town Hall. Leeds Youth Jazz Rock Orchestra and Leeds Training Orchestra will be filling the auditorium with sounds from the world of film and pupils from North East Leeds City Learning Centre will be documenting the day through film, photography and social networking.
